Our cardiopulmonary program focuses on rehabilitation of acute and chronic conditions of the heart and lungs. We can help recovery from cardiac or respiratory procedures and illnesses such as:
- Myocardial Infarction (MI) (Heart Attack)
- Congestive Heart Failuer (CHF)
- Heart Surgery / Valve Replacement
- Uncontrolled Hypertension (High Blood Pressure)
- Arrythmias such as Atrial Fibrillation (A-fib)
- Pacemaker Implant
- Endocarditis
- Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
- Emphysema
- Chronic Bronchitis
- Asthma
- Pneumonia
- Tracheostomy Care (New and Existing)
- Various Sleep Disorders requiring CPAP, Bi-PAP, Auto
- (Obstructive Sleep Apnea - OSA)
Our medical team coordinates care planning according to the recommendations of the cardiologist and cardiac rehab team. We make sure individuals in our care program adhere to cardiac protocols for medication, diet, and exercise. Our Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy will evaluate and treat each individual and develop a plan to return home. Our Respiratory Therapy assists each individual with their pulmonary condition and provides treatment to aid in a successful recovery.
