Occupational Therapy
When a person gets injured or has a prolonged illness, doctors often recommend physical therapy. In the case of residents, though, that recommendation is often seen as just something to try. This misconception could not be further from the truth. Physical therapy is top quality therapy for many conditions affecting the elderly, from Alzheimers to urinary incontinence. Therapy will help you get your life back on track.
Our Occupational Therapists work in tandem with our Physical Therapists to improve Activities of Daily Living (ADL's). Occupational Therapists work with a Resident to develop and adopt a routine of beneficial daily activities based on the resident's individual needs. We strive to get our patients back in control of life.
If you've lost the ability to do even the most simple of tasks, our skilled physical, occupational, and speech therapy team can help you gain back your independence.
